Oh goodness, how can my first born be turning three SO SOON. I can’t even. We’ve been thinking about his birthday and all sorts of things we can do to celebrate and shower him with love. He won’t be three until the end of August, but it will sneak up on us before we know it!
Young, Wild, and Three: I love this sweet shirt! For his actual birthday, but also for the entire year of being three! Everyone says being 2 is terrible, but he was great being 2! I’m more nervous for year three!!
Let’s Go Fishing: This game would probably keep Jude’s attention for a while. We borrowed a little plastic fishing pole at the pool the other day, and he was attached to that thing, pretending to fish off the edge of the pool and on the steps. It was his favorite, and kept talking about how he went fishing with his Grandpa.
Magnetic Tiles: We frequent the library, and these magnetic tiles are one of Jude’s favorite toys to play with then we are there. He will actually sit at a table and play and build! It’s so fun to watch! And also a great way to talk about colors and shapes.
Fort Kit: Taking all the cushions off our couch and love seat to make forts have been one of the favorite activities the past month or so. And I try to let it happen as much as possible- even though my urge to clean up the mess is hard to resist. Maybe this would be a great gift for Jude and selfishly keep my living room tidier!
Octonauts Playset: Do your kids watch this show, Octonauts? They are under-the-sea helpers to all sea creatures and Jude is loving it right now. This little toy would probably blow his mind!
Pop-Up Soccer Goal: As of right now, soccer is Jude’s sport of choice. We have done a little but of t-ball in the backyard, but he is more drawn to soccer! We play it inside and outside and his legomen play soccer. So this goal would be fun to pop up in the backyard and kick around the soccer ball!
What are some things you love for your toddler? I’d love to hear other ideas!
Linking up with High Five for Friday today!
