It feels so good to be back! I left last Wednesday late afternoon on a flight to San Diego for a Fit4Mom Conference. I teach Stroller Strides with Fit4Mom and they have a national conference every 18 months and this time me and two other instructors went from Lexington. And it was a blast! It was so fun to see other instructors from all over the country come together, learn from each other, and encourage one another in our businesses.
I learned so much while I was there and it was where I needed to be. But I missed my boys terribly. My husband held down the fort with my two little guys and did a fantastic job. But by the second day of being away from home, my stomach was in knots. I wasn’t feeling too well, and I chalked it up to weird eating habits while traveling. And then I realized that wasn’t it– it was my deep desire to be with my sweet boys at home. I yearned to be back with them! It was good time spent away, but it was the best feeling in the world to wrap my sweet boys in my arms and have their little heads rest on my shoulders again. I didn’t want to let go… and I haven’t since being back!
And before I knew it, we have arrived to Tuesday and I am still soaking up my boys, holding them a little longer, and rocking them a little closer. Because I missed several days of their lives and I didn’t like it. So now they are going to get extra doses of their momma!
So link up to Tuesday Talk and let me know what you’ve been up to! I will have a full recap of my trip in a few days– so until then link up and tell me something new!
