It’s been so fun to see Jude enjoy the snowy weather we’ve had in Kentucky! Even though it’s supposed to be warm and rainy all this week, we’re supposed to be getting more snow in two weeks. Crazy Kentucky weather! Jude loves to see snow falling and loves to watch it stick to all the trees and grass. He asks right away to go outside to play in the snow, most of the time not even wanting to bother with his coat and mittens and hat! This kid would stay in just his diaper all day long if I let him.
Luckily we have an older boy cousin that gives us hand-me-downs! And I’m so glad too because Jude has used his snowy weather things from his cousin a lot! Especially his boots. Jude started wearing those boots in the summer, and he’s still going strong.
Boots: These cute boots are on sale for $15! Scoop them up soon- my toddler doesn’t like to leave the house without them, and it doesn’t matter if there is snow on the ground or not.
Water-proof mittens: We bought a few pairs of mittens that were just cotton and Jude soaked those through the first time he touched the snow and wanted to take them off immediately.
Fun hat: This isn’t the exact hat we have for Jude, but we have one that’s a raccoon face with ears and Jude loves pulling that hat on.
Waterproof pants: Jude falls all over the place, indoors and out. So if there is snow on the ground there is no way he would last if his pants weren’t waterproof! These aren’t the pants we have for Jude, I couldn’t find them online since we have hand me downs.
Toboggan: We don’t have a sled or a toboggan, but if we did I’m pretty sure we would be pulling Jude around the entire neighborhood in it!
What are some of the best winter items you’ve used for your kids, or even for you? I need some snow boots and am looking for good recommendations!
