Oh, happy day. It’s Thanksgiving! Everyone has great Thanksgiving traditions and I just love hearing about them. It seems everyone I run into has specific foods, routines for the day, and thoughts of lounging around with family and friends taking a restful, thankful day.
And we are no different around here!
Snacky foods are huge with our family on Thanksgiving Day. And when we say snacky foods, we all know exactly what that means: crackers and cheese, veggies and sour cream dip, Canada Dry and cranberry juice, little cucumber sandwiches.
And these are just the foods leading up to the big dinner. Ah, the big dinner. Last year I shared our Broccoli Cheese Casserole we make and this year it will be making an appearance. Also, Jude was so little last Thanksgiving!
Even though the food is a great highlight, it really is just the time with family. And it’s slow time. Normally involves a little bit of PJ lounging, a stroll around a park, light reading, chatting all day, and eating.
So Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy that time. Take it slow.
