I think we all go a little pin-crazy, sitting in our sweat pants pinning items on fitness… all while eating an extra large bowl of ice ream. Or pinning ideas on organization while taking a break from filing all those bills and paperwork that is still in piles on your desk.
I am guilty, for sure.
SO- I am starting to take one pin a week and actually doing it. I am starting small, and seeing how it goes. Maybe one day I will up it to two pins a week, but for now I am trying to handle just one.
This past week I started doing yoga, which I found on Pinterest. It is a WONDERFUL YouTube channel called Yoga by Candace. I have done many of her videos and have been very pleased. There are some more challenging 20 or 30 minute videos where I had to modify the moves, since I am no yoga expert, but most of them I am able to do right along with her! The ones I can do well are mostly the ones with the word ‘beginner’ in them, but who cares!
Candace’s videos are simple and thought-out. She talks over the video and has a relaxing voice and easy to follow instructions. I mean, have you ever tried to follow a yoga instructor who had a nasal-y voice?! You can’t even concentrate! Or an instructor who tries to do all their SUPER advanced moves and leaves you in the dust on your brand new yoga mat? Not fun.
But Candace doesn’t do any of that. She is helpful and encouraging and even gives options for an easier move or a more advanced move. Go check her out and you won’t be disappointed!
