T.G.I.T.

Thank goodness it’s Thursday! Thursday afternoons are almost as good to me as Friday afternoons are. There is only one more day of the work week, one more day of rigid schedules and waking up to an alarm. And Friday at work just feels different, for some reason. More free, maybe? Still a full, effective day of work, but still freer than the previous four days of work. Right? Or is it just me?

We have been bursting with baby- baby planning, baby names, baby room, baby stuff, baby clothes, baby talk…… AHHH! And I am guessing that it won’t stop soon. (And I am OK with that) We found out yesterday that we are having a BOY! We couldn’t be happier. The appointment was amazing. We saw his feet, his hands, his legs, all his organs, and his face. Whew. It was emotional overload and so joyous.

Since I am in baby mode, I thought I would update you on the nursery. It’s going to be a soft nautical theme nursery. When I say soft, I just mean it isn’t IN YOUR FACE NAUTICAL EVERYTHING. Just some neutral paint and furniture, with a few accents that hint at being nautical. Very calming.

ANYWAY, we painted the walls gray. (The same gray as our living room. I just can’t get away from that color.) Then we painted our old dressers white. They look a MILLION times better.

So that’s our progress on the nursery. More before and after pictures to come once we get everything completely dried. The paint on the dressers could take a few weeks to cure 100%, so we are just letting them sit in there and stay perfect so we don’t smudge anything.

**UPDATE** To see the final before and after pictures of our dressers, check them out here!
