My sweet sink savior visited my bathroom shower today. (Read: My husband snaked our shower drain because my hair clogged it all up. YUCK!) Needless to say, there will be no pictures on today’s project. It was actually quick and painless…. well, I wasn’t in the room because I am pretty sure the sight of a gross ball of my own hair that has been sitting in the drain would make me gag. UGH! I can’t even think about it for too long.
Good thing my husband has a great attitude. I was in the opposite side of the house during this project, mending some clothes (sounds so wife-y). And all I heard was, “I caught one! I caught one!” He had to transport himself to a quiet lake somewhere in an out-doorsy location, far, far away from our little bathroom and pretend he was fishing. Hey, whatever works. And if his pretending allows me to have a shower without standing in ankle-deep water, I am all for it. Thanks hubby for the save! It only started being clogged last night, so I am super excited about the quick project-turn-around.
In other news, it has been way to nice today to do any real house projects inside. It was sunny and warm today. Yes, WARM! What a great surprise. The sun came out, and we tied on our sneakers for a good hike on some trails nearby. It was so much fun! We hiked for the morning and well into the afternoon, getting our fill of the sunshine and warm breeze. Who can work inside on house projects, or clean, organize, or paint when it is so nice out there? Not this girl. Just for some proof, here are our sneakers after our trek this morning. And this is even after I banged them together outside.
